The amazing French marionette company Royal De Luxe did a performance recently of a giant who goes on a trip to find his niece (the little giant). The puppetry is incredible. Puppets are everywhere these days! Makes me so happy.

Artist Kurt Peschke has been sticking a giant red ball into various places in various cities. I saw it a couple of weeks ago in Toronto, and it was a big success. People were taking photos with it, it was filling up the old city hall, the kids liked it, it was big and red, and, well, you can’t lose. In art school, we had a joke that if your artwork wasn’t good, you should make it big. If it’s still not good, you should make it red. I like the big red ball. Maybe I’m programmed to.

Some Russian bloggers have photoshopped the moustaches off famous leaders. Some are funny, and some plain weird. Personally, the moustache is my favorite part, but it’s probably some kind of Samson/Delilah thing they’re going after.

Props for the rhyming (and appropriate) band name. I guess they have a sign nailed to the front of their treehouse that says “no girls allowed.” Acacoed just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
