Charles Krafft

According to an article, Charles Krafft borrowed an AK-47 s from Slovenian arms dealers and made plaster cast molds of them for his ceramics. It’s true that he’s poking a bit of fun at our gun and terror filled culture, but it’s also true that he is into guns himself. No one so lovingly creates guns without having a soft spot for them. On his Myspace page, he also discusses how he is the inventor of human bone china (and why not?), mixing human ash into porcelain. I’m a little scared.

French artist. Wish I could see these! The one of the aged superheroes is called “L’Hospice,” which made me infinitely sad.
