Mexican Pointy Boots

Scousers?
I randomly came across this amazing photograph online, and it took quite a bit of detective work to figure out what it was. It seems like men in Liverpool were getting perms and growing moustaches for some time. Apparently there was some kind of football (Americans read: soccer) match, and the fans of the opposing team dressed this way to make fun of Liverpool residents. Also, it seems that “scousers” may be derogatory- not in a bad way, probably like “yankees” here in the States. Who cares? This is probably the best photo ever made.

Unsung & Awesome: Lisa Kudrow
I wasn’t really a huge fan of Lisa Kudrow until I saw The Comeback, a great scripted-as-a-documentary (mockumentary?) show that was taken off the air way too soon. It was a smart and funny satire, and I own it, if anyone wants to borrow it. I can’t even find the best part on youtube, where Valerie Cherish is wearing a cupcake and punches the show’s writer. It’s genius. She’s also been pretty great in movies. More Kudrow, please.
