Marc Giai-Miniet
These are sculptures of model-like environments by Marc Giai-Miniet. All I want is to see one in real life now. Thanks, Mike!

Elie Nadelman
I saw a piece by Elie Nadelman in a museum recently, (SFMoma?) and remembered how much I liked his work. My favorite is “Tango,” though after research, any of the carved wood sculptures would do. You can see more at the Hirshhorn Museum website.

Sarah Garzoni
This is a project called “Boudoir” from Sarah Garzoni. Not much to say, right? Pretty sweet.
Lissa’s friend Betty posted this artist on the Ef-book. Thanks, Betty!

Jiggery Pokery
Hey I’m not dead I was just settling into my boring job and becoming a boring person but also I moved! None of those things matter! Look at this stuff! Jiggery Pokery is some unfortunately named British design team. They make ALL OF THE COOL THINGS! I don’t even know what they are doing!

Marc Monzo
Jewelry by Marc Monzo. I love the idea of gold and silver jewelry that looks like it came out of a toy vending machine.

Jessica “Hair”rison is more like it.
I’ve got to give credit where credit is due and this one deserves a thank you to Anne B. Kelly who writes for Huffington Post. She wrote a little blog about artist, Jessica Harrison, and I kind of ignored all of the words because I was captivated by the grossness of the work. It’s too good! Furniture made out of skin and hair? Well, it’s not real skin but it is real hair, and the skin looks real enough to give me the heebie jeebies (is that term racist, by the way? Because it sounds like it could be).
Check it out y’all! YUCK!!!!!!!!!
More work that is equally awesome here: www.jessicaharrison.com
