Phyllis Galembo photographs insanely awesome stuff. She goes around the world documenting costumes worn in ritual and ceremonial practices. Looking at her pictures makes me feel lazy. Also David Byrne thinks she acts ditzy.

It’s Thanksgiving, when we inexplicably celebrate one of the more hypocritical, blood-thirsty, entitled times in American history. Of course, the food is delicious, which overrides all those silly negatives. In any case, here’s a slew of Native American Halloween costumes.

These are actual things! Ghillie suits are funky outfits made to look like foliage and branches; they’re actual camouflage used by hunters and military-types BUT THEY LOOK SO COOL. Also: something something Nick Cave something something. And: I can’t believe these are real.
