I know that this looks like a simple photoshop manipulation, but it’s literally a built sculpture. Everything is skewed: the hammers, guns, phone booths, and, of course, skulls. Yes, it’s a simple idea, but in real life, these are really unsettling and disturbing. It’s just a huge shame that the galleries aren’t smart enough to photograph these better. At least allow for some human interaction, so that people can see just how warped the objects are. Do I have to do everything myself? Hope you get the idea. I also wish he would do this for other, more ridiculous objects. Hot dog cart, Barbie dreamhouse, taxidermied skunk, lucite shoes, garden gnome, and that’s just off the top of my head.

So totally disturbing, but familiar at the same time.
