Eric Wareheim

I have a story about a real-life encounter with Tim Heidecker of Tim and Eric from a time they were going to perform in Philly. Their show ran late (like, really late… I’m old) and I was taking out my frustrations on Tim, who was very much uninterested in my worries. Later, a crazy person threw a beer on a different crazy person, destroying her camera which had photos of her with both Tim and Eric. We ran away. Long story short, I’ve been mostly uninterested in most things Tim and Eric, but Eric Wareheim directs music videos, and I must admit I enjoy them. It seems his favorite flavor of neon, laser lights and 80s effects works great in small doses backed by fun music, non-professional dancing, apathetic faces and sometimes even pornography. (FYI- there are suggestive dance moves on this post. Sorry?)

The Bird and The Bee – “Polite Dance Song”

Maroon 5 – If I Never See Your Face Again

MGMT – Youth

Major Lazer – Pon De Floor
