Sue Williams

Sometimes art is good or even great and then the “feminism” word gets attached to it and it becomes like, totally super awesome. Don’t ask me how or why it happens. Also I don’t even know if that is how I feel about Sue Williams; how about let’s all take a look at it together and decide if that’s the case.

  1. Oh man! I clearly remember a series by Sue Williams, before the butt holes/orifice paintings. it was huge animal orgies, like bunnies and bears all in a giant pile. I can’t find them anywhere online! Did I dream them?

  2. i’m sure you didn’t dream them, this woman has done it all and her web presence is SO FUCKED. every site i found for her had entirely different work and i couldn’t tell if they were made by the same sue williams or if there are many sue williamses doing only-slightly similar-ish work that get lumped together sometimes and are so computer illiterate that they cannot defend & differentiate themselves online. therefore, i am sure there must be images of her animal orgies on japanese internet. they did it wrong.

  3. Hey, remember when Miles from Work Of Art totally ripped of Sue Williams with that Mickey Mouse drawing??? What a douche!

  5. the link to sue’s name to no more pink, those are not the same sue williams… sue’s work can be seen at 303 gallery’s website, or regen projects’s website or eva presenhuber’s website

    • i knew i was wrong! their work seemed different but THIS sue williams’ stuff is so varied in its styles over time that i thought maybe the no more pink website was her, but just in a poorly maintained form with an insufficient archive. but really, how is it fair to have TWO feminist artists with the same name?!
